The coal mill building houses the mill for grinding lumpy coals. This fine ground coal is used for burning in the kiln. Building footprint was around 31 by 20 meters and the highest level was located at 35 meter from the ground. Special design requirements for explosion protection were requested by the client [explosion cages and the design of certain structural elements to sustain stresses and forces in case of explosion]. The structure design drawings package was 21 drawings. The founder and one of the senior staff supervised, revised and managed completely the design process from computer model creation to final design stages and drawings production till project submission.
